Considering I’m in the middle of a contract updating some FAA-required documents, this one hit me like a ton of bricks.
Cedar Island, NC by chance?
This is normally followed by, “The next guy may not have his seaplane rating.”
Also:
Aircraft with short engine mounts, please taxi up close.
Pilgrims with short muskets stand close to the firing line.
Anyone know some more? I had a book with a whole bunch of those collected from various restroom walls.
The way I’ve seen it is “ATTENTION PILOTS: For those of you with short pitot tubes or low manifold pressure, please taxi up close. The next pilot may not be float equipped.”
Seat cushion can be used as a flotation device…ewww
